Your recordings, your data.
How Solab collects, uses, stores and lets you control your recordings, transcripts and notes.

Overview
This page explains, in plain language, how Solab handles your recordings, transcripts, notes and account information. Solab treats recordings, transcripts, summaries, chat messages and imported documents as sensitive personal data.
What we collect
Account details you provide (such as your email); the media and documents you record or upload; the transcripts, notes and derived data Solab generates from them; and the operational metadata needed to run the service, like timestamps, file sizes and processing status. We do not sell your data.
How we use your data
We use your content only to provide the product — to transcribe, summarize, index and let you search and revisit your own recordings. Model-backed steps run through the Qevron AI gateway, and Solab only sends data you are authorized to access.
Storage, security & the AI boundary
Content is encrypted in transit and access is authenticated — recordings are never public by default. Every request is authorized server-side and scoped to your workspace. The Qevron gateway performs inference but never decides what data is yours; Solab enforces that boundary.
Sharing & retention
Nothing is shared unless you create a share link, which is revocable and can expire. Trashed items are purged on a retention schedule, and permanent deletion removes the media, transcript, embeddings and every derived note.
Your rights
You can export a complete copy of your workspace at any time, and delete individual recordings or your whole account. When something about our data practices is unknown or not yet guaranteed, we tell you plainly rather than overstating it.
Payment data
If you buy a paid subscription we also process order and payment records: the order reference, the amount charged, the plan and interval, the payer e-mail and the payment status. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are entered on the payment provider’s own page and never reach Solab — for an automatically renewing plan we keep only an encrypted card reference plus the last four digits and the card brand. Payment data is never sent to the AI gateway. The payment disclosure page covers this in detail.
Changes & contact
We may update this page as the product evolves; material changes will be reflected here. If you have questions about how your data is handled, contact us and we’ll help.
