Distance selling agreement

The terms that apply when you buy a paid Solab subscription — who sells it, what you get, what you pay, and how renewal and cancellation work.

Last reviewed 27 July 2026

This page is informational and written in plain language — it isn’t legal advice, and we may update it as Solab evolves.

Seller identity

Solab’s full seller identity — legal name, registered address, phone, e-mail, MERSIS number and tax office — is not published on this page yet. We would rather show nothing than a placeholder, so this block appears here as soon as those details are confirmed. Ask us and we will give them to you directly in the meantime.

1. Parties

This agreement is made between the SELLER identified on this page and the BUYER: the person who holds the Solab account and completes the purchase. The buyer’s details are the ones held on that account and entered on the payment page at checkout.

2. Subject

This agreement covers the electronic sale of a Solab subscription — a digital service delivered online — and sets out the parties’ rights and obligations under Turkish distance-contract rules (Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation).

3. What you are buying

Solab is sold as a monthly or annual subscription. Every plan carries a monthly pool of transcription minutes and a monthly pool of AI credits, plus the feature set listed for that plan. Both pools are enforced, both reset at the start of each calendar month, and neither carries over. The plans, limits and prices that apply to you are the ones shown on the pricing page and in Settings → Billing at the moment you buy.

4. Price, currency and payment

Plan prices are set in US dollars. Payment is collected in Turkish lira: the amount charged is the plan price converted at the exchange rate resolved at the moment of checkout, so the lira figure shown before you pay is the figure that will be charged. Any applicable taxes are shown on the payment page. Payment is taken on the payment provider’s own secure page — your card number, expiry date and security code are entered there and never reach Solab.

5. Delivery and performance

The service is delivered electronically, so there is no physical delivery and no shipping cost. Your plan is activated as soon as the payment provider confirms the payment — normally within seconds — and the new limits are available on the same account immediately.

6. Term, renewal and cancellation

The subscription runs for the term you chose and renews automatically at the end of each term until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing: cancelling switches off the next renewal, keeps your paid plan active until the end of the term you already paid for, and then the workspace continues on the free plan. If an automatic renewal payment fails, the plan is kept for a short grace period — currently three days — while the charge is retried, after which the workspace moves to the free plan. You are not charged twice for the same term.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation the right of withdrawal does not apply to services performed instantly in electronic form, or to intangible goods delivered instantly, once performance has begun with the consumer’s consent — and a Solab subscription is activated immediately after payment. Independently of that rule, you can cancel at any time as described above, and we review refund requests as set out in the refund policy.

8. Refunds

Cancellation and refund handling — including how to ask for a refund and what happens to unused minutes and credits — is described in full in the refund policy, which forms part of this agreement.

9. Personal data

Personal data processed for the service is described in the privacy page, and the data processed specifically for a payment — order reference, amount, plan, payer e-mail, payment status and the masked card reference — is described in the payment disclosure page.

10. Complaints and disputes

If something is wrong with a purchase, contact us first and we will try to resolve it directly. Consumers in Türkiye may also apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee (Tüketici Hakem Heyeti) or the Consumer Court in their place of residence or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade.

11. Acceptance

You accept this agreement electronically by ticking the acceptance box at checkout before payment is taken. This page stays publicly available at the same address, so you can read the agreement in full before you buy and re-read it at any time afterwards.
